We send newsletters through DonorDock that can be quite long. Rather than including teasers and linking to an article hosted on a website, we include all content in the email. When building and editing lengthy emails, the auto-save feature is running continuously and this creates a significant lag. Moving my cursor just one position can take up to 30 seconds. It makes it very difficult to format text, add hyperlinks, fix typos, etc. The email functionality works great for short messages, but it would be nice to be able to work on long messages without the extreme delay.

Add "Handwritten Note" as an option under + Add Activity in donor profile

We have donors who have asked that we don't send them bulk solicitation emails, so we've marked them as "Do Not Solicit" but what I found out today is the "Do Not Solicit" toggle doesn't apply to emails. The donor would need to Unsubscribe from all emails. We feel that we run the risk of losing donors who have told us they don't want us to solicit them through bulk email and it makes us look like we aren't listening to the donor.

It would be helpful to be able to print email drafts as you are working on them. Currently if I want to print an emailed newsletter or document I have to send a test email and then print from my email address.

It would be great if we could pick a specific hex color for the background of our signup form when it is being embedded onto our website that way it matches the color on the website!

It would be extremely helpful to be able to preview a receipt (when processing these manually for donations received by check) before sending it in order to be able to see how the merge tags integrate into the document for the selected donor and donation in order to make sure that the document looks the way it was intended and has all or the right information. I like to see what I am actually sending before sending it.

To do our outreach specifically off interests gained from newsletter links clicked we need to have not just how many clicked what but the ability to filter what was clicked and pull a report or add a badge or add them to marketing lists. This would help our team follow up more efficiently with potential leads. Thanks

For the prospect journey, we have the power to determine who goes into it. For the new donor journey, it runs automatically when a first gift is made. However, this is sometimes a problem. Duplicate contacts get created (especially when automations are used from other platforms), and sometimes people have purchased a ticket or something in the past but not made a true donation, and this excludes them from the new donor journey. Giving us the ability to add and remove people from the new donor journey manually would save us headaches.

This enhancement request is related to Email Appeals and Campaign management. Current limitation: DonorDock does not currently provide a way to automatically exclude donors who have already contributed to a specific Campaign from future Email Appeals associated with that same Campaign. As a result, prior to sending each Email Appeal, we must: Review the Campaign to identify current donors, and Manually remove those donors from the Marketing List(s) used for the upcoming Email Appeal. This manual process is time-consuming and increases the risk of donor fatigue and targeting errors. Requested enhancement: Provide a configurable option to automatically exclude contacts who have already donated to that Campaign from all future Email Appeals tied to it.

Add the ability in outreach communications (texts and emails) to use a "fallback" of choice (via an added field in the settings for the individual communication) when there is no data in a contact field (eg. {{donor.first_name}}). Example, if I have a subject line "{{donor.first_name}}, we need your support!" and there is no first name for a contact, it currently shows up as " , we need your support!". With a fallback, it could be something like "Friend of <organization>..." or, "Dear donor..."
