Send Contact Information entered into Online Giving Page
If a donor provides an updated mailing address while making an online donation, that information is currently lost (so as not to overwrite the old address in their account). It's crucial that we see this information (otherwise we would mail an acknowledgment letter to the wrong address)!
An easy solution might be to simply have email confirmations sent to certain team members whenever an online gift is made that includes all contact information and whatever else is entered into the online form.

Sarah A.Similarly, we have some contacts in our system with only name and email address, and then when they make their first gift (online), the mailing address they enter does not populate into their contact record. We can log into Stripe and pull it that way, but in general it seems to make sense that the address donors provide while making a donation is an address we want associated with their account. Plus, if they add a new/different address when donating online and then our automated acknowledgement email is sent out to them, it sends with the old/existing address information--which is confusing for the donor and looks like an error on our part. Thanks for considering!

McKaneWe have the same issue. We have lots of records in our database that just subscribe to our newsletter. As a best practice, we get their email address early on and then foster and build a relationship with them over time. Eventually, they become donors. But when they become donors, the data is never passed from Stripe back into DonorDock. We're left with an email address and no phone number or address etc which we NEED to have in there in order to thank them!
This feels like a huge oversight and problem with DonorDock for a myriad of reasons. And there doesn't seem to be any potential workaround with Zapier etc.
We're stuck.
