Send automated email drip series based on criteria, like "new contacts" or birthdays.

We are now using DonorDock for our mass email needs, and have moved everything over from Mailchimp; except our automated welcome email series! We are now using the DonorDock email signup form on our website, so connecting this to automated functionality would be great for marketing and connecting with new prospects.

I second this! We would love to be able to send automated emails for things like birthdays, first donations, etc. Would make things a lot easier!

This is a much needed feature. I would use this feature regularly and would view it as a key asset to your platform. Contacts trigger the series, such as when a contact given a specific badge or clicks a link in a specific email. Contacts who take the specified trigger action are added to the queue to receive the email series. I would like to assign folks to specific marketing lists and have emails assigned to go out to them on an automatic timeline (2 weeks after being added to marketing list, 6 weeks after marketing list etc.) So the automation wouldn't be scheduled on a particular date, but rather a particular timeline that would start a chain reaction of emails to follow. You could have two people who were added to the marketing list at 2 different dates getting the same emails on the same timeline but on 2 different dates because they entered the process que at two different times and triggered the email process on their own timeline.

I agree! Exactly what Heather is describing is what I would like to see as well. Without this functionality of tracking the date of when people are added to a marketing list, it is difficult to the sign-up form -> marketing list functionality without manually tracking who you have already sent a "Welcome" email to because people would be getting duplicate messages.
