Activity - Make it easier to see if it is Complete or Incomplete in the timeline

With the new update (which overall I love!) it is harder to see at a glance if an activity is Complete or Incomplete. Is there a way to show simply it's status at a glance, without having to click into the activity? (with text, or different color, font, icon . . .). I know right away they show as "Upcoming" activities at the top, but if it is the day of or past (which, lets face it, we all get a little behind sometimes) it starts to get lost in the regular timeline, and that is probably when we need to see it the most.
Maybe this is superfluous, as the Activity Board shows them all for us, but just a thought.
